Environmental Club is a group that is committed to raising awareness about environmental issues and reducing environmental impact as individuals and a school community. The purpose of the club is to spread awareness and provide small actions that can help improve the environment. We provide realistic and achievable tips and ideas to reduce environmental impact. Examples include making bird feeders, cleaning up parks, collecting recyclables (bottles, cans, etc.) to raise money for club activities, PSA’s on ways we can all help. |

Do you want to use yarn to knit things? Bay Trail has a Knitting Club that will meet on Mondays this fall! The club will meet after school on Mondays in Room 609. That is upstairs in House B. The club is open to grades 6, 7, and 8. No experience necessary – you can borrow knitting needles and learn to knit! Note: There will be a club dedicated to crochet crafters starting up in January. Bay Trail’s Pops Orchestra is open to all students who have 2+ years of experience playing a string instrument (violin, viola, cello, bass, harp) in grades 6-8. No audition required. Students will gain and enhance skills through playing a variety of musical styles including movie music, popular music, video game music, rock and roll, contemporary music, etc. This group will meet 2 Wednesdays every month in room 113 (orchestra room) from September to May and will perform at the Bay Trail Chamber Concert in April.
