Login Information

We use a number of different online systems in the Penfield Central School District.  Logging into and remembering these systems can be difficult. This login resource guide is intended to help students and families with this challenge.  The guide includes login and access information for student laptops, Office 365, Infinite Campus, and the Patriot Portal.

Patriot Portal

A consistent problem that many of us have is remembering all the web addresses, logins, and passwords we need.  To help with this problem we are now using a service called ‘ClassLink’ to gather all of those sites into one easy to use space.  By logging in to ClassLink (which we have named the Patriot Portal) you will be able to easily sign-in to many different sites.

The Patriot Portal IS accessible from home!  Your login credentials are the SAME that you use to login to your district laptop.  You can go to this link from home: Patriot Portal

See this document for more detailed information: Patriot Portal Guide

Logging into Office 365 with Student Account

All Penfield students can log into Office 365 from any web browser.

Go to Office 365 to access the sign in page.

Enter the student email address with the following format: 2 digits for graduation year, first initial, last name, and @student.penfield.edu for the domain.  Seniors graduation year is 22 with kindergartners using 34 as their grad year.

Example for John Doe graduating in 2022:             22JDoe@student.penfield.edu

  1. Enter username and password into pop-up window to complete login.  Username does not require the @student.penfield.edu for this portion. Please note this may look different dependent on the web browser being used. Click OK/Sign in button to submit the credentials.

ParentSquare Information

Penfield uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:

  • Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification

  • Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6 pm

  • Communicate in your preferred language

  • Comment on school postings to engage with your school community

  • Direct message teachers, staff and other parents

  • Participate in group messages

  • Sign up for parent-teacher conferences
