District Technology Vision Statement
As a learning community, the Penfield Central School District strives to evaluate and utilize the most educationally appropriate technologies. We envision an environment in which the tools of technology support teaching and learning and serve as a catalyst for instructional excellence. All members of the community will acquire the technical knowledge, skills and attitudes to enhance lifelong learning and growth as productive citizens.
District Technology Goals
In the Penfield Central School District, we strive to prepare students for 21st Century skills. To ensure the success of the Instructional Technology Plan, the District uses the District Mission Statement along with the New York State Common Core Learning Standards, the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) National Education Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S), and the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, as guiding principles.
