All Penfield Central School District students who meet the following guidelines are eligible for transportation:

  • Grades K-8    Students who live more than 1/2 mile from school
  • Grades 9-12   Students who live more than 1 1/2 miles from school

Transportation for Private Schools
Students who live in the district and are eligible for busing may be bused up to 15 miles to a private school. All private school transportation requests must be received by the Department of Transportation by April 1. Forms must be renewed each school year.

Private school transportation forms will be emailed to the homes of Penfield students who are currently being transported. Parents of students who are new registrants at a private school should print out and complete the appropriate form below and mail it or drop it off to the Transportation Department.

Transportation for Childcare or Alternate Locations
Parents who require transportation to and/or from daycare or an alternate location must submit requests to the Department of Transportation by April 1. Forms must be renewed each school year.

Parents of students who are new registrants to a daycare or alternate location should print out and complete the appropriate form below and mail it or drop it off to the Transportation Department.
