At the annual School Budget Vote & Board Election on May 20, 2025, qualified voters of the district will elect two members of the Board for 3-year terms, commencing July 1, 2025, and expiring on June 30, 2028, to succeed Dr. Emily Roberts, and Mrs. Nicole Doyley, and will elect one member of the Board for the unexpired term commencing on May 21, 2025 and expiring on June 30, 2027, to succeed Ms. Meghan Callan. Candidates run at-large in the Penfield Central School District. The three candidates receiving the largest number of votes will be deemed elected. The top two vote recipients will be elected to three-year terms, and the third highest vote recipient will be elected to the remainder of Ms. Callan’s term.
Board candidate petitions may be obtained at the District Office after March 3, 2025. Fifty-six (56) signatures of qualified voters are needed on the petition, which must be filed with the Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 21, 2025. Candidates should supply their personal biographical data and statement of qualifications to the District Clerk by April 14, 2025, to meet the printing deadline for the budget newsletter.
The annual Monroe County School Boards Association Prospective School Board Candidate Seminar has been scheduled for Saturday, March 29, 2025.
