NYSPHSAA announced that 161 Penfield High School students participating in 10 sports teams were named Scholar-Athletes for the winter 2026 season.

Earlier this month, students in Chris Pelletier’s Ceramics courses took their work outside as they learned how to fire pieces in an outdoor Raku kiln.

Penfield High School inducted 93 students into its National Honor Society (NHS) during a ceremony held on Monday, May 18.

Students in Katrina Robinson’s AP Biology classes had some plucky visitors this month, as they studied the behavior of Rhode Island Red hatchlings.

Penfield Central School District Board of Education members Krista Khan and Susan Gilbert-Collins recently earned recognition from the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA).
