Counseling

Penfield High School Counseling Department

The School Counseling Program at Penfield High School, in collaboration with school personnel, parents, and the community provides students with the academic, career and personal/social experiences needed to develop the attitudes, knowledge, and skills for success in school and as citizens of a global society.

All students in grades nine through twelve participate in a developmentally appropriate school counseling program based on the American School Counseling Association's National Standards for School Counseling.  The counseling program prepares students to become effective learners, achieve personal and social goals, and develop into responsible, contributing members of society.

School Links

The Penfield High School Counseling Office uses SchooLinks to assist us and our students in managing the college and career planning process.  Family Connections is a comprehensive website that students and parents can use as a tool in planning for their future.  We encourage our students to utilize this website through out their high school years.
