Spring Coffee & Conversations Explore Portrait of a Graduate
On Tuesday, Jan. 27, Penfield Central School District will host two Coffee & Conversations sessions for members of the community focused on Portrait of a Graduate, the new guiding framework for New York State’s education system.
Community members can choose to attend one of two sessions, to be held from 9 to 11 a.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., both at the District’s Transportation Facilities Center (1340 Jackson Road).
At the session, members of Penfield’s Instructional Leadership Team will provide an overview of the Portrait of a Graduate and will share how the District will embed the framework across its curriculum, prepare teachers across disciplines for the transition, and leverage support services to ensure all students succeed.
