Kaylie Northrup Named Cobbles Assistant Principal

The Penfield Central School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Kaylie Northrup as the new Assistant Principal at Cobbles Elementary School.

Ms. Northrup comes to Penfield from the Pittsford Central School District where she has served as the English as a New Language (ENL) K-12 Standards Leader and as an ENL teacher. She also taught at Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women and in the East Rochester Union Free School District.

Ms. Northup holds her administrative certification and master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Rochester. She has an additional master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a bachelor’s degree in English with concentrations in secondary and special education, both from Nazareth University.

“I am thrilled to become part of the Cobbles family, and I am committed to upholding Penfield’s values of equity, inclusivity, and social-emotional learning for all children,” she said. “I am eagerly looking forward to meeting faculty and staff, students, and families as we begin our work together!”

Ms. Northrup will begin her new position as of Oct. 7
