Theodore Wilson Named as Safety and Security Coordinator

The Penfield Central School District is pleased to announce that Theodore Wilson has been named as the district’s new Safety and Security Coordinator, following his appointment at the April 8 Board of Education meeting.
Prior to joining the district, Mr. Wilson worked for 30 years in law enforcement. He started his career with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office as a part-time deputy in the Special Services Unit. Mr. Wilson also worked for the Rochester Police Department, retiring after 22 years as a road patrol officer.
While working in law enforcement, Mr. Wilson served as a field training officer, physical trainer instructor, and defensive tactics instructor with the RPD. He also previously worked for the Rochester City School District as a truancy officer.
Mr. Wilson holds his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Keuka College and his associate’s degree in Criminal Justice-Political Science from Monroe Community College. He has been serving as the district’s Interim Safety and Security Coordinator since late February and therefore, will move into the permanent position immediately.
