Penfield High School
Penfield High School, located in a residential suburb of Rochester, NY, offers a comprehensive curriculum for students in grades 9-12. In addition to traditional core subjects, students can choose from a wide variety of Advanced Placement offerings for college credit, as well as numerous electives in arts, music, engineering, business and more. Vocational and alternative education experiences are also made available to students. A highly skilled staff works to create a warm and welcoming environment for all students and actively encourages the involvement of parents in their children's education.

 Wrestling Team Recognized by Legislature The Penfield High School Varsity Wrestling Team was recognized by the Monroe County Legislature for winning their first-ever Sectional Title. The Legislature read a proclamation in the team's honor at its March 9th meeting. Congratulations to the team! Robotics Team Earns Inspiration Award Congratulations to the Penfield High School Robotics Team, Rolling Thunder 1511, for earning the Engineering Inspiration Award at the Finger Lakes Regional competition on March 6th. The team was seeded 5th out of 44 teams at the competition and made it to the semi-final round. The team's next event is the Rochester Rumble, which... PHS Musical, Beauty and the Beast, March 18-20 The Penfield High School Drama Club will be presenting the musical "Beauty and the Beast" in performances at 7:30 pm Thursday, March 18 through Saturday, March 20 in the new high school auditorium. A 1 pm March 20 matinee is also scheduled. Tickets are $10 at the high school main office or at the door.
